1. Aceptación

Al crear una cuenta o usar VerifyAct (el "Servicio"), accesible en verifyact.com, usted acepta estos Términos y Condiciones. Si no está de acuerdo, no utilice el Servicio.

2. Qué es VerifyAct

VerifyAct es una herramienta de apoyo que compara la consistencia de los datos entre un documento (por ejemplo, un acto notarial o contrato) y los documentos de identidad de las partes, mediante reconocimiento óptico de caracteres (OCR) e inteligencia artificial. El Servicio detecta posibles inconsistencias, calcula un índice de confiabilidad y genera un informe.

3. VerifyAct NO es una certificación legal

El Servicio es una ayuda de revisión. No constituye asesoría legal, dictamen, certificación, ni validación jurídica de ningún documento. Sus resultados son orientativos y no sustituyen el criterio ni la revisión de un profesional del derecho debidamente habilitado. La decisión final sobre cualquier documento es siempre responsabilidad del usuario y de su asesor legal.

4. Uso aceptable

Usted se compromete a usar el Servicio solo para fines lícitos, a subir únicamente documentos sobre los que tenga derecho a hacerlo, y a no intentar vulnerar, sobrecargar ni hacer ingeniería inversa del Servicio.

5. Contenido cargado por el usuario

Al cargar cualquier documento, archivo o dato para su verificación, usted declara y garantiza que tiene el derecho legítimo de subirlo —ya sea porque es su titular, cuenta con la autorización expresa de este, o está de cualquier otra forma legalmente facultado para hacerlo—. Usted es el único responsable del contenido que carga y se compromete a no subir contenido ilícito, que infrinja derechos de autor, marcas, datos personales u otros derechos de terceros, ni contenido indebido u ofensivo.

Según se detalla en nuestra Política de Privacidad, VerifyAct no almacena los documentos cargados: se procesan de forma automatizada y se eliminan al concluir el procesamiento. Por esta misma naturaleza automatizada, VerifyAct no revisa ni valida previamente el contenido cargado y no asume responsabilidad alguna por él, por su origen, ni por las consecuencias de su carga o procesamiento. VerifyAct se reserva el derecho de rechazar, interrumpir o suspender el procesamiento de cualquier contenido que, a su sola discreción, considere ilícito o contrario a estos Términos.

6. Cuentas

Usted es responsable de la confidencialidad de sus credenciales y de la actividad de su cuenta. Debe proporcionar información veraz al registrarse.

7. Planes, créditos y pagos

El Servicio funciona mediante créditos y/o planes. Los precios, la facturación y las condiciones de reembolso se detallan al momento de la compra; los pagos se procesan a través de un proveedor externo. El período de prueba gratuito se ofrece según las condiciones vigentes y puede modificarse.

8. Limitación de responsabilidad

El Servicio se ofrece "tal cual", sin garantías de exactitud, completitud o disponibilidad ininterrumpida. VerifyAct no será responsable de daños, pérdidas o perjuicios derivados del uso o de la imposibilidad de uso del Servicio, ni de decisiones tomadas con base en sus resultados. El usuario reconoce que la detección de inconsistencias puede no ser exhaustiva y que la revisión profesional final es indispensable.

9. Disponibilidad y cambios

Podemos modificar, suspender o discontinuar el Servicio o estos Términos en cualquier momento. Los cambios se publicarán en esta página.

10. Terminación

Podemos suspender o cancelar cuentas que incumplan estos Términos.

11. Ley aplicable

Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes de la República Dominicana. Cualquier controversia se someterá a los tribunales competentes de la República Dominicana.

By creating an account or using VerifyAct (the "Service"), available at verifyact.com, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What VerifyAct is

VerifyAct is a support tool that compares the consistency of the data between a document (for example, a notarial act or contract) and the parties' identity documents, using optical character recognition (OCR) and artificial intelligence. The Service detects possible inconsistencies, calculates a reliability index, and generates a report.

3. VerifyAct is NOT a legal certification

The Service is a review aid. It does not constitute legal advice, a legal opinion, certification, or any legal validation of a document. Its results are indicative and do not replace the judgment or review of a duly qualified legal professional. The final decision on any document is always the responsibility of the user and their legal advisor.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, to upload only documents you are entitled to upload, and not to attempt to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.

5. User-uploaded content

By uploading any document, file, or data for verification, you represent and warrant that you hold the legitimate right to upload it — whether as its owner, with the owner's express authorization, or as otherwise legally entitled to do so. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and agree not to upload unlawful content, content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, personal data rights, or other third-party rights, or content that is inappropriate or offensive.

As detailed in our Privacy Policy, VerifyAct does not store uploaded documents: they are processed automatically and deleted upon completion. Given this same automated nature, VerifyAct does not pre-screen or validate uploaded content and assumes no responsibility for it, its origin, or any consequences arising from its upload or processing. VerifyAct reserves the right to refuse, interrupt, or suspend the processing of any content that, at its sole discretion, it deems unlawful or contrary to these Terms.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity on your account. You must provide truthful information when registering.

7. Plans, credits, and payments

The Service works through credits and/or plans. Prices, billing, and refund terms are detailed at the time of purchase; payments are processed through a third-party provider. The free trial is offered under the terms in effect and may be modified.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability. VerifyAct shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or harm arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, nor for decisions made based on its results. The user acknowledges that inconsistency detection may not be exhaustive and that final professional review is indispensable.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.

10. Termination

We may suspend or cancel accounts that breach these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Dominican Republic.
